Harry Thring
Harry Thring
Thring is an instinctive and emotive painter, incorporating graphic symbols and imagery with a highly developed sense of colour and abstraction.

His latest paintings could almost be described as self-portraits and aim to explore his sense of identity in today’s world.

Camilla Taditch

Arkaroola
Oil on linen
100 x 150 cm

Camilla Tadich is a Melbourne based artist who is becoming well recognised around Australia for her haunting and fascinating canvases of the Australian continent.

Into a dark inky night Tadich shines a torch to show the viewer a hidden human existence. From the dark space emerges a rusted car body, or an abandoned bus - she wants the us to look; to search out the detail, unseen and unobserved.

Scott Marr
Scott Marr
The Snail
Pyrigraohy, eucalypt bark, corepsis, ochres, liquid chloraphyll, plane tree charcoal on paper
47 x 53cm
$1,950 Incl. GST

Scott Marr is a very talented visual artist working with pyrography (burning images) and delicate pigments, which he collects and processes from the Australian bush.

This art form is an ancient one, but his subject matter is far from it. Animals are delicately burnished into paper and brought alive with a remarkable natural pallet. On closer inspection the figures are composites - leaves, sticks and household items beautifully brought together in some sort of surreal jigsaw puzzle.

His distinctive images make his designs unique in Australia’s contemporary art world.
