Dagmar E Cyrulla Dagmar Cyrulla is a figurativepainter who holds a Bachelor of Visual Art from the University of Western Sydney. She has also undertaken additional training through the Julian Ashton School of Art (Sydney) and workshops such as the New York Studio School Drawing Marathon held in Adelaide, Australia. As a result of her attendance at the Drawing Marathon Dagmar was awarded a Summer Scholarship to further her studies in drawing and painting at the Studio School in New York during June and July 2004. Dagmar has participated in several groups shows in Sydney and Melbourne, and held her first solo exhibition in Melbourne in 2003. Her pieces are featured in a number of private and corporate collections in Australia and Germany. Originally majoring in printmaking, Dagmar's prints are held in the collections of the London Print Workshop, the Print Council of Australia and the Chicago Printmakers' Collective. She has recently been awarded an eight month artist's residency as well as undertaking Masters Studies at Monash University.
